RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed 72 or 96 hours bi-weekly

• 13-week contract duration

• Every other weekend schedule required

• No call requirements

• Required to work holidays scheduled during contract period unless unit has regular staff coverage

• Floating to other units required

• Block scheduling available

• Care for cardiac telemetry patients on 24-bed unit

• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6

• Interpret telemetry strips and administer/manage cardiac medications (PO, IVP, and IV drip)

• Complete charting assessments, bedside shift reports, and maintain patient safety

• Required certifications:
Indiana RN license, BLS, and ACLS

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Navy scrub color required

• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

• Must provide required license, certifications, and driver's license with permanent home address
