RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Every other weekend schedule required

• 13-week assignment duration

• 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly

• Auto offer position available

• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS

• Patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1

• Maximum 1 week of requested time off allowed (pre-approved)

• No block scheduling

• Floating to other units required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (no local candidates accepted)

• Care for higher acuity med-surg patients with diagnoses including stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, level 1 trauma post-ICU care, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care

• Required skills include expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube management, and groin site management post-IR

• Must submit required license and certifications or application will be rejected
