The Substance Abuse Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and families.
- Document services and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and relapse prevention.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Active state licensure as a Substance Abuse Therapist.
- Experience in addiction or behavioral health treatment.
- Strong facilitation and intervention abilities.
- Excellent documentation and crisis intervention skills.
- Teamwork and collaborative approach.
Work involves, residential, and outpatient settings, with shifts possibly including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
BenefitsHealth insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Salary$65,000 to $70,000 annually.
