Position Information: Auto offer position

Role: RN Telemetry ACT - Advanced Cardiac Therapy

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days 7a-7p, every other weekend, no call, option for block scheduling. Holidays required.

72 Bi-weekly

Certifications required: ACLS / BLS

Patient Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5, not exceeding 1:6

RTO (Request for Time Off): Maximum 1 week

Scope of role: Advanced Cardiac Therapy Unit, managing Heart Failure patients or those with cardiac diagnoses (NSTEMI, STEMI, post-Watchman or Cath procedures, new-onset A-fib, A-fib with RVR). Responsibilities include managing cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Heparin) and IV pushes (Metoprolol, Lopressor, Digoxin, Cardizem). MS/Tele patients with cardiac history.

Preferred experience/skills: Telemetry knowledge, rhythm interpretation

Experience required: 1-2 years in MS/Telemetry

Unit details: 24 beds; float departments include Neuro Science, MS4B, MS3C, NSP4A, Tele 5A, Tele 5B, ED Holds, Oncology.
