Position: INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

Job Overview

Position:
Air Reserve Technician (ART), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Flight NCO (AFRC). Primary purpose: serve as ISR Flight NCO, responsible to the NCOIC and Squadron Commander, and to orchestrate Air Force Reserve integration into global ISR operations. Grade: 11.

Responsibilities
  • Perform airborne ISR operations and provide expertise in executing intelligence missions.
  • Plan and execute ISR flight activities; overall responsibility to the NCOIC for sustaining intelligence for ISR functions/operations supporting the U.S. Air Force, DoD, and national level agencies.
  • Serve as an AFRC ISR senior operator, interfacing with AFRC and AF Operations Centers, maintaining command/control/oversight and tasking of Air Force Reserve Forces within the ISR Group and Reg AF ISR units.
  • Serve as an aircrew on various aircraft to operate, evaluate, and manage airborne ISR information and related ground processing systems.
Qualifications

Education: A degree or equivalent education is required. Transcripts must be submitted and verified prior to appointment if a positive degree requirement applies. Foreign education may be accepted if deemed equivalent to U.S. education. Veterans claiming veterans' preference must submit applicable verifications.

Security Clearance: Sensitive Compartmented Information.
Drug Test: Required.
