Intern - Tax

This is a hybrid, year-round internship. The ideal candidate would begin working part-time in April, with full-time hours beginning in May.

• Prepare and file various tax returns and regulatory forms.
• Assist with income tax information gathering and review.
• Track and respond to notices from taxing authorities.
• Research and document wide-ranging tax topics.
• Organize and store historical tax and regulatory documents.
• Learn and improve skills with Microsoft Office and finance software systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with at least two years completed. Preferred majors include Accounting or similar.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• An interest in data analytics and process improvement.
• Self‑motivation and ability to meet expectations while working independently and on teams.
• Ability to learn and improve technical skills in MS Office Suite software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively manage assignments.
• Year‑round availability to work from our Fort Wayne headquarters: 15‑20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
