Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This contract opportunity offers potential for growth and flexibility, including the option to work remotely a few days a week upon transitioning to a long-term role. Responsibilities:

- Process and review expense reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.

- Manage and track financial transactions using Quick Books and Concur Expense systems.

- Handle payment processing and ensure that all transactions are completed in a timely manner.

- Perform manual financial processes and maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline expense reporting procedures.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze financial data.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed.contractpart-time

Requirements - Proficiency in Quick Books and Concur Expense software.

- Experience in processing expense reports and managing payment transactions.

- Strong knowledge of manual accounting processes and financial recordkeeping.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
