Job SummaryShambaugh & Son is looking for a Part-Time Fire Protection Designer. You will be responsible for assisting in designing layouts using AutoCAD/Hydra
CAD and creating hydraulic calculations.
- Assist in the design and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems
- Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications
- Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis
- Familiarize with fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, Hydra
CAD, Auto Sprink, and Revit - Provide lists for fabrication
- Other duties assigned
- Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitude, with attention to detail
