Senior Electrical Engineer

A growing industrial furnace and thermal processing equipment manufacturer is seeking a Electrical/Controls Engineer to support the design, programming, and integration of electrical control systems for custom industrial machinery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects from concept through commissioning and thrives in a hands‑on, collaborative manufacturing environment.

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC‑based control systems for industrial furnace equipment
• Develop and modify ladder logic programs and manage full PLC lifecycle development
• Configure and assign PLC I/O addressing
• Design and configure HMI systems using Rockwell software
• Integrate electrical controls with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Configure AC/DC drives and related motion components
• Lead system troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis on electrical failures
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support for new and legacy systems
• Perform ladder edits, software updates, and system modifications via remote access tools
• Test and commission newly installed equipment to ensure performance and specification compliance
• Collaborate with design, purchasing, field service, and sales teams across multiple projects
