Overview

Join a leading Utility Infrastructure team delivering high-impact water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys diving deep into design details, guiding projects from planning through construction, and serving as a trusted technical resource for both clients and internal teams. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Technical Directors while helping shape solutions that are practical, compliant, and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute utility infrastructure design across drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility management projects.

  • Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, calculations, permitting documents, and construction documents.

  • Independently perform advanced engineering calculations, product evaluations, and technical analyses.

  • Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliant and constructible designs.

  • Identify design challenges early and develop practical, innovative solutions.

  • Support Project Managers by contributing technical expertise and detailed task planning.

  • Prepare technical exhibits, job-specific details, and specifications for unique project conditions.

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and coordination efforts as a technical lead.

  • Stay engaged in professional, industry, and community organizations to support continued growth and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

  • 10+ years of diversified experience in water, wastewater treatment, stormwater, and collection and distribution systems

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline

  • Proven ability to lead technical design efforts and manage complex engineering tasks

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, utility standards, and infrastructure best practices
