The Need
Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer or someone with equivalent experience to be responsible for completing the Mechanical portion of small to large projects as well as overall preparation and coordination of the Engineering deliverables for the project. They will assist management with pre‑studies of deployment and development projects in the Mechanical field. They will also execute design studies, follow procurement and fabrication of equipment, and manage the installation, commissioning, and startup of the equipment in an industrial plant environment.
This support is needed starting immediately and currently does not have a defined end date. The position will be reassessed on a regular basis.

Pay$50–$58/hour, depending on experience and qualifications (W2 Contract)
ContractLong‑term with possible CTH after 6 months
Work StatusMust be authorized to work in the U.S. (Green Card or U.S. Citizen only)
Work Schedule- Normal work hours 40 hrs/week Monday – Friday, however occasional shifts in schedules can be made to provide coverage for project installations and start‑ups requiring weekend or holidayijd coverage.
- Overtime work may be approved as needed but will not be typical.
- Work Plant Shutdowns as needed. This work almost always falls on weekends & Holidays Hyd plug. ό
- Work schedules will vary based on project need and assignment.
- Up to 5% domestic and some international travel.
- Provide detailed mechanical design and project management for assigned projects.
- Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement, or upgrade.
- Provide backup support and training to plant maintenance teams on new automation systems that they implement.
- Interface with internal company support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management and direction when needed.
- Participate in assigned major capital projects and/or modifications from start to finish, including equipment reception, commissioning, and acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years of current mechanical engineering project experience in industrial manufacturing or commercial building environments being preferred.
- Experience with mechanical design standards using standard CAD design tools (AutoCAD/Solid Works).
- Experience in Project Team Leadership or Project Management.
