The Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors;
Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology for a suite of products across multiple programs.  This position supports a variety of activities including but not limited to architecture development, requirements management, and development oversight for signal processing systems and software defined RF systems (radar, communications, and/or EW).

This is an onsite position located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
** What You Will Do
*** Analyze, develop, and implement engineering solutions for complex systems operating under moderate technical uncertainty
* Assess the customer’s architectural needs and desired capabilities and participate in requirements decomposition to ensure appropriate allocation of technical architecture elements
* Create innovative solutions to complex technical challenges in signal processing design
* Design, modify, and/or test existing electronic warfare signal‑processing and control algorithms, along with the associated system software
* Develop and execute test plans, including test simulations and lab tests to verify system capability
* Evaluate and assess functional performance of developmental RF systems, including signal processing subsystems, software, and/or firmware/control algorithms
* Support bid and proposal efforts by providing accurate labor estimations and material cost estimations
* Maintain organized workflows, documentation, and processes to support team operations
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations, design reviews, and test result briefings to internal teams and external stakeholders
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience
* RF system design, digital and analog signal processing, waveform and modulation analysis, and algorithm development, implementation, and testing.
* Knowledge defining system architectures, including requirements derivation, allocation, traceability, and configuration management.
* Experience with developing system models, simulations, and analytical tools to evaluate, predict, and optimize system performance.
* Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).

** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Familiarity with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms
