Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineer
The Need:
The person in this role, who has 8-10+ years of experience, will be responsible for providing Electrical/Automation Engineering support to the Mixing maintenance team of a large manufacturing company. The intended purpose of this role is to:
This person must be a TEAM Player! Experience in Project Team Leadership or Project Management is preferred but not required.
This support is needed starting immediately and currently does not have a defined end date. The position will be reassessed on a regular basis based on the investment plan and loading on the curing engineering team.
Long-Term Contract opportunity: YES, This is a contract starting with a duration of 1 year with the option to extend.
Location: This is a full-time ONSITE position at our client's site in Ft Wayne, Indianna
Requirements:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Preferred 10+ years of Engineering Experience, enough to work on their own and not have to be micromanaged.
- Experience with electrical design standards and able to complete controls systems designs using standard CAD design tools.
- Autocad Electric is a plus, SEE electric experience is preferred.
- Experience with controls systems network interfaces and various protocols for communications between devices including computer system databases.
- Our systems are Data-Highway +, Control Net, and Ethernet protocols.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell, including VFD’s (or Variable Frequency Drives) and Motion Control technologies equipment, with working knowledge ofPanel
View and PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text.- Specific experience with Control Techniques, SEW MOVIMOT, and Rockwell, is a plus.
Pluses for this role:
- Robotic experience, configuration or knowledge is preferred, but not required. Specific experience with Fanuc, ABB is a plus.
- Specific experience with Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise preferred. Gocator is a plus.
