Automation Engineer

Base Pay Range

$100,000 - $120,000 per year

• Program and troubleshoot FANUC robot systems, including setup, path programming, and integration with other automation equipment.
• Develop and maintain Allen‑Bradley PLC programs (Control Logix, Compact Logix, and related hardware).
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate robotics, sensors, and motion control systems into new and existing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Manage automation projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring systems meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Support production teams with process optimization, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed system documentation including schematics, code backups, and change logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
