Student Experience Consultant

Summary Under the leadership of the Supervisor of Education Services, this individual will serve as the Education Services team’s primary relationship consultant for a number of area schools and students. Is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the highest level of experiential learning across Parkview Health for non-clinical and clinical students. Additionally, interacts directly with program leaders at schools and their students.

Daily activities will include scheduling and coordinating student learning experiences, ensuring student and instructor onboarding compliance, communicating with schools and students regarding education and career opportunities to them at Parkview, working with Parkview department leaders on student placement and feedback, and delivering an excellent student experience in all interactions.

Collaboratively monitors changes in policies and practices at Parkview and uses expertise to instruct faculty and students on these changes. Conducts feedback monitoring on the effectiveness of students, instructors, and Parkview preceptors and use knowledge and critical thinking skills to timely address issues as they arise.

As part of this role, serves as a primary collaborator and liaison between Parkview affiliated academic programs and Parkview departments, and may participate as a Parkview representative on school advisory committees. In partnership with Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development, provides recruiters with active information on learning experiences available at Parkview and may participate in education fairs at local schools.

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing Education Services work specific to the schools and students they are the primary contact for in coordination with the Education Services Onboarding Coordinator. Coordinates the student placements throughout the health system, ensuring the education standards and accreditation minimums are being met through the learning experiences Parkview offers. As a primary contact for school programs and schools, is responsive to requests from students and appropriately connects them with other Parkview resources including employment, educational financial assistance opportunities, and more.

Also, responsible for organizing and tracking student records, along with safety and compliance documentation.

Responsible for maintaining accurate placement records for reporting purposes. On a routine basis, reports on requests for learning experiences, placements made, available placements throughout the health system, and projections on placements for upcoming semesters based on school program enrollment and placement needs.

Collaborates with other HR teams to facilitate employment, workforce planning, talent acquisition, organizational development, and total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required. Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Management/Administration, or Education preferred.
• License or professional certification in HR, business or healthcare profession preferred.
• Must have five or more years of experience in business, HR, or a healthcare profession.
• Desired experience in an education or training role.
• Must have experience with Windows applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Desired experience with public speaking or presentations to small groups.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-oriented environment utilizing organization and critical thinking skills.
• This individual must demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team environment to achieve desired results.
• Successful individuals will be self-starters who receive guidance and are able to function independently.
