Join our CAATE-accredited Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program as a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor
. This 12‑month faculty role carries primary teaching responsibilities within the graduate athletic training program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service; contribute to an innovative and collaborative academic culture; and serve as a professional role model for aspiring athletic trainers.
What You'll Do:
- Teach graduate athletic training and related coursework; develop and refine curriculum.
- Assess student learning and implement ongoing improvements.
- Maintain professional effectiveness through scholarship, integrity, and current knowledge.
- Participate in faculty meetings, governance, and committee work.
- Advise and mentor students; support student organizations as assigned.
- Engage in scholarly work and present findings through publications or presentations.
- Contribute to program development, departmental collaboration, and community/professional engagement.
- Represent the program at professional and community events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Doctorate in Athletic Training or a related field preferred.
- Credentials supporting Assistant/Associate Professor appointment.
- Current BOC certification and Indiana AT licensure (or eligibility).
- Ability to teach exercise science and graduate athletic training courses.
- College-level teaching experience in a CAATE-accredited program preferred.
- Strong communication, feedback, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and support diverse learners.
- Strong organization, time management, and student-centered approach.
