When you become a part of Champions , you’ll be supporting hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time. Whether you’re collaborating with school administrators or inspiring students to aim higher, you’ll lead the way toward a brighter future.
Your Role as a TeacherAs a Teacher, you will:
- Lead and Mentor: Coach and guide less experienced teachers, modeling best practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Implement Curriculum: Tailor Kinder Care's curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Create a Safe Environment: Foster a nurturing space where children can play, learn, and grow.
- Engage with Families: Partner with parents to ensure the best care and education for their children.
- Support Center Goals: Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement objectives.
- Cultivate Relationships: Build positive connections with families, teachers, community partners, and licensing authorities.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- An active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
- Preferred:
Approved state trainer status and 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. - Willingness to meet state-specific qualifications and obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in activities with children.
- Strong communication skills in English to connect with children and their families.
