Faculty Business Administration and Management

Professor of Practice or Assistant/Associate Professor of Business Administration and Management (On-site position)

Indiana Tech is looking for a full‑time faculty member in Business Administration and Management to teach, serve, and mentor students. The position offers the possibility of tenure‑track and involves teaching, program development, and student support.

• Teach four in‑person courses per semester (or a combination with online courses) for a total of eight courses per academic year.
• Hold eight office hours per week.
• Develop and improve programs and curricula.
• Mentor students and support their success and career preparation.
• Participate in campus committees, departmental meetings, and institutional initiatives.
• Contribute to continual quality‑improvement activities.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for a diverse student population.
• Engage in professional development, service to the college, and efforts to increase access and success for underrepresented students.

• Doctoral degree in Business, Management, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution (preferred). A master’s degree may be considered in lieu of a Ph.D. for qualified candidates.
• Minimum of five years of college‑level teaching experience.
• Proficiency with Canvas, Microsoft Office, and Teams (or comparable technology).
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population and to develop effective student relationships that lead to academic and career success.
• Strong use of technology in all aspects of teaching and communication.
