Love reading? Want a summer job that actually makes a difference? Join the Allen County Public Library as a Team Read Teen Reader this June and July!
This daytime, Monday–Friday summer job lets you work with elementary‑age kids, helping them build reading skills through books and fun activities. You'll be part of a supportive team, meet new people, and give back to your community-all while earning $10.25 per hour

- Read with kids and help them grow their literacy skills
- Play and lead fun activities
- Be a positive role model and cheer on young readers
- Work with library staff in a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Are 16–19 years old
- Can read confidently in English
- Enjoy working with kids
- Are friendly, patient, and enthusiastic
- Want a meaningful summer job (no weekends!)
