Parkview Health is currently seeking a full-time Board Eligible / Board Certified Palliative Care physician to join our Palliative Oncology team at Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN.

Specifics of The Role

• The ideal candidate is a compassionate and innovative physician driven to provide a multidisciplinary approach to palliative care in the cancer population.
• Palliative care is an integral part of our cancer care delivery model with involvement at all stages of a patients cancer journey, when appropriate.
• Commitment to proactive management of symptoms and improvement of quality of life.
• Completion of a palliative care fellowship favored, but internal medicine or dual palliative oncology and medical oncology training would be considered.
• Call frequency is 1:3
• Academic-style practice in a community setting
• Health system utilizes EPIC EMR System

• Serves the oncology needs for Parkview Health system with a catchment area population of over 1.3 million people.
• Cancer Institute is organized around Tumor Site Teams, each with their own Tumor Board and an array of support services

• The Cancer Institute has the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) of all service lines in Parkview Health.
