Communications Center Operator

Join Allen County Public Library as a Full-Time Communications Center Operator and play a behind-the-scenes role that helps keep our libraries connected, informed, and safe. This onsite position supports patrons and staff by handling phone calls, responding to urgent situations, and monitoring security systems-all in a calm, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $14.05–$17.90 per hour

• Answer and route incoming calls on the library switchboard
• Assist patrons and staff with information and service connections
• Respond to emergency calls with professionalism and care
• Monitor and operate video surveillance systems
• Maintain clear, accurate communication and logs
