The RoleAssociate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for the media collection for and Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, they create virtual tours, floor plans and photography for residential homes. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, scanning homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans, and producing property photography for marketing purposes. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager in local markets.
ResponsibilitiesSupport marketing efforts on and by capturing 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs to feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to showcase spaces effectively.
Work with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
Identify new inventory and missing availability in defined market areas to expand photography coverage.
Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Repetitive hand and arm movements to operate a tablet or laptop and camera equipment.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions.
Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
At least 2 years of professional experience.
Real estate photography experience required.
Experience as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
Drone photography experience with FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time management skills and highly detail-oriented.
Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record check prior to start; driving history must reflect responsible behavior.
The Associate Photographer position is hourly plus bonus-eligible. Bonuses are paid monthly and based on performance against predefined metrics. This role favors a metrics-driven environment with bonus incentives.
