Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with at least 2 years of freight brokerage experience and a proven track record of managing and growing a book of business. The ideal candidate will bring an established client base, leverage their network, and manage the end‑to‑end logistics process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth
    • Bring over and expand an established book of business by networking, researching, and prospecting for new opportunities.
    • Strengthen relationships with current clients by understanding their business, transportation needs, and product requirements.
  • Operational Coordination & Client Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure seamless freight operations and timely deliveries.
    • Monitor load progress and proactively resolve in‑transit issues (e.g., weather delays, traffic) to ensure on‑time delivery while managing costs.
    • Ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, providing ongoing support to build long‑term relationships.
  • Business Development & Strategy
    • Continuously assess evolving client needs and look for opportunities to add value.
    • Use your network and industry expertise to identify new business opportunities within the existing base and new prospects.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required to ensure the success of your portfolio and department.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of freight brokerage experience, with the ability to bring your current book of business.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business in logistics or freight brokerage.

  • Problem‑Solving & Critical Thinking: ability to quickly analyze complex situations, make decisions, and implement solutions that ensure client satisfaction and business success.
  • Availability: willing and able to be on call as required to address urgent client needs or issues.
