Mobile Automotive Service Technician

Bob Thomas Ford is looking for a mobile technician, who must be capable of basic auto maintenance— recalls, computer and electrical diagnosis, DOT inspections, brakes, batteries.

• Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing all authorized repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers.
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to continue loyalty.
• Ability to work in severe weather conditions.
• Ability to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
