Fulfillment Machine Operator; On-Site

Job Summary

The Mailroom Operator is responsible for operating high volume envelope inserter equipment. Operator keeps work area in order and staged. Process high volume of mail daily.

• Operate mailroom equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs
• Perform accurate quality assurance checks
• Deliver mail to local post office
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent, machine experience a plus

• Strong communication skills
• Strong attendance is a must
• Organized with the ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail required
• Strong troubleshooting skills required
• Good computer and writing skills are a must
• Ability to stay focused and work in a team environment
• Strong ability to follow policy and procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Valid driver’s license

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Open-plan work area.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
• Will be standing on your feet most of the day
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• Will be lifting, carrying production stock, supplies, using a pallet jack
