Job SummaryShambaugh & Son is looking for a Purchasing Assistant in the Fort Wayne, IN office. In this position you will be responsible for expediting, invoice reconciliation and other miscellaneous purchasing tasks.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and complete purchase orders
Responsible for invoice reconciliation
Responsible for expediting and making sure the materials are delivered in the specified amount
Receive packing slips
Ensure and promote compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
2 years’ minimum experience in an office setting
Previous Purchasing experience is a plus
Must have proven multi-task skills in prior position
Candidate must be accurate; attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organized and a self-starter
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
