About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle Fusion, lease accounting, cost accounting, and account reconciliations. This hands‑on manager will oversee accounts‑payable processes, lead a team, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for daily accounting operations, compliance with financial regulations (GAAP/IFRS), and maintaining the accuracy of financial records. The role involves managing workflows, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, fostering process improvements, and collaborating with senior leadership on financial strategies.

- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, including Accounts Payable staff; provide training, performance feedback, and leadership to enhance team effectiveness.
- Manage daily accounting operations, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial transactions, and accounts‑payable activities.
- Lead lease accounting and cost accounting functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense management to align financial performance with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors; support audit preparations and tax filings.
- Utilize and optimize accounting systems, including Oracle Fusion, to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Develop and implement improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Operations, Human Resources) to support business objectives and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting standards and practices.
- Experience in cost accounting and account reconciliations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts‑payable processes.
