Accounting Assistant
Seeking an Accounting Assistant in Greater Fort Wayne! We are actively interviewing to support the organizational needs of our client. This position involves data entry, collaboration with finance professionals across multiple divisions, accuracy and record keeping and is a vital role in the seamless operation of our team!
Daily Essential Functions for Accounting Assistant
- Responsible for accurately entering financial data into accounting software within allotted deadlines.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors, view and process invoices, ensure proper coding and authorization.
- Support accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
Best Fit for Accounting Assistant
- Experience in AP/AR processing
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Compensation
$41,600 - $47,840 pending experience
