100% Onsite with some travel
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support financial oversight and reporting for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration across multiple entities within a structured, values-based workplace.
Responsibilities- Review monthly and annual financial statements and perform bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash receipts, expenditures, and contribution activity
- Assist with internal financial reviews and periodic audits
- Prepare spreadsheets, control reports, and supporting documentation
- 2+ years accounting experience preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related field
- Nonprofit or accounting for restricted and unrestricted funds experience preferred
- Experience with accounting software and excel proficiency
