Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

***$750 Sign-on Bonus****

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic persons to work with and support individuals with developmental disabilities in PG, Montgomery and Charles Counties. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, providing support for managing behavioral challenges, as well as supporting people to live a good life and follow their dreams.

Shifts available

Sa Su 7a-11p – either every other weekend or every weekend.

Pay Rate: $24-$25/hr.

Paid Training

CMT, Mandt, DDA core training as needed.

Requirements

Medication Technician (CMT), as well as certified in the Mandt System or willingness and ability to become certified within 30 days of employment. Training will be provided. Must be CPR FA certified and have DDA core training prior to starting, DDA training provided. Prior experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who exhibit behavioral challenges strongly preferred. Must have own reliable vehicle, driver’s license with clean driving record.

Must be able to utilize computer technology to complete all documentation requirements.

Must attend two-day orientation prior to starting.
