Description:
You will be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - MQ-1 OR MQ-9 What You Will Be Doing This position requires rotational OCONUS deployments. Resource is for an on-site Leader that directs the performance of all Organizational-Level maintenance, repairs and modifications on MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment in accordance with (IAW) applicable government publications and directives. Attends customer meetings as required by the Performance Work Statement and is prepared to discuss maintenance actions and their impact on operations and logistics.
Directs servicing, pre-, thru-, and post-flight inspections, launch and recovery activities, weapons loading and unloading, troubleshooting to the level described in the applicable MQ-1 and MQ-9 Technical Orders, LRU removal and replacement for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, scheduled periodic inspections and post-maintenance checks and verifications. Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures IAW PWS. Ensure aircraft and equipment status is accurately reflected in both the maintenance forms and the Maintenance Information System (MIS).
Verifies aircraft status in the MIS no less than once per shift. Signs. Participates in developing and executing daily Air Tasking Orders. Manages the maintenance production effort by assigning priorities to meet the flying and maintenance schedules. Fully understands and is prepared to implement disaster control duties and responsibilities pertaining to aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation IAW government directives. Maintains a current copy of the on-base disaster map with cordon overlay and appropriate functional checklists outlining duties.
Understands aircraft status and inventory reporting as covered in Air Force Instruction 21-103 and applicable supplements. Determines, tracks, and reports aircraft status, including ETIC, IAW AFI 21-103 and government directives. Authorize CANN actions when authorized. Monitors Crash, Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) program activities and local procedures designed to protect personnel and prevent further damage to aircraft, equipment, and other resources.
Verifies MICAP conditions exist and reviews MICAP's status daily for accuracy. Ensures flight line munitions are handled, accounted for, and expended IAW AFI 21-201 and local instructions. Ensures strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. Ensures compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. Encourages a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents.

This position will be located overseas in a Foreign Location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have at least 15 years experience in aircraft maintenance with at least three (3) years experience in a leadership and/or management role equivalent to an U.S. Air Force Maintenance Superintendent. Must have at least 1 year experience on MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must successfully complete CONUS Replacement Center (CRC). Must have a valid US Passport.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledgeable of applicable maintenance directives listed in Air Force Instruction 21-101. Possesses the ability to cultivate relations and building partnerships at all levels within LMCO. Demonstrated ability for problem solving and prioritizing multiple projects. Understanding of ISO 9001:2008/AS 91000 quality standards and related federal/state/local laws/regulations.
