Position Summary Market Manager needed for an immediate full‑time leadership position. As a Market Manager you will manage a team of Wireless Sales Pros across multiple Walmart stores, driving sales, training, coaching, and ensuring a superior customer experience.
Responsibilities- Oversee sales associates in the wireless section across multiple Walmart locations within your assigned market.
- Motivate a team of Wireless Sales Pros to engage consumers about post‑paid/pre‑paid carrier plans, wireless accessories, and service plans.
- Lead by example by actively participating in sales and demonstrating how to effectively engage customers.
- Teach your Wireless Sales Pros to uncover consumer desires, deliver catered solutions, and overcome objections.
- Foster professional relationships with customers and fellow employees.
- Collaborate with your team to accomplish sales goals and celebrate success.
- Deliver superior sales results with an exceptional customer experience.
- Promote products and services that everyone uses.
- Engage customers, build store relationships, and manage team activities to meet sales and project goals.
- Accurately track sales, events, and merchandising projects.
- Provide daily direction, sales training, and guidance to retain Wireless Sales Pros.
- Attend regional meetings and conference calls as required.
- Administer counseling and terminations appropriately, following procedures.
- Assist temporarily in event coverage as business needs dictate.
- Contribute to launch‑related activities as needed.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Meet & exceed personal sales goals and ensure team meets established weekly/monthly sales goals/quota.
- Maintain customer/client satisfaction based on team execution and substantiated complaints.
- Maintain proper headcount across region.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Business degree preferred. - 3–5 years retail or sales experience required.
- Multi‑unit Sales Management experience preferred.
- Demonstrate ethical and professional standards.
- Good judgment and initiative; problem‑solve independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexible for evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to travel throughout the market.
- Salary plus bonus averaging $45K–$60K annually.
