Nursing Director of Trauma Program
Location: Fort Walton Beach , Florida (On-Site)
Compensation: $120K - $135K Based on leadership experience

Lead and elevate the Trauma Program at a hospital-level in Fort Walton Beach. The Nursing Director of Trauma Program is responsible for:
- Providing strategic and operational leadership for trauma services
- Overseeing trauma registry management, quality improvement, education, and research initiatives
- Ensuring alignment with national trauma standards and accreditation requirements
- Collaborating with surgeons, Emergency Department leadership, and hospital executives to deliver exceptional trauma care
- Lead daily operations of the trauma program: staff coordination, performance monitoring, and resource management
- Maintain and analyze trauma registry data to support compliance, accreditation, and research goals
- Drive quality improvement through case reviews, audits, and performance trends
- Coordinate trauma center verification and re-verification processes
- Promote trauma education, community outreach, and staff development
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and advocate for evidence-based trauma care
- Minimum 5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care Trauma leadership experience (e.g., Trauma Program Manager, Trauma Coordinator)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification within 30 days of start date
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
