The Work
The Warehouse Clerk supports efficient operation of operated storage facilities by performing inventory management, receipt, storage, issue, and shipment of materials in accordance with applicable federal regulations, agency policies, and contract requirements. The Warehouse Clerk ensures that all documentation, physical handling, and reporting is executed accurately, securely, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse clerk duties consistent with the labor category experience requirements.
- Support inventory management functions consistent with the Supply Chain Institute Certified Inventory Management Expert certification.
- Maintain and track inventory records and warehouse documentation as applicable.
- Understand supply and inventory management concepts and methodologies with knowledge equivalent to:
- Certified Inventory Management Expert, or similar certification.
- Prepare equipment for shipping including, but not limited to:
- Schedule DLADS deliveries and drop-offs.
- Collect equipment from flight.
- Ensure documentation is complete.
- Schedule security checks with the Security office and Cybersecurity office.
- Ensure equipment is packed appropriately.
- Schedule recycling/hazmat drop-off.
- Ensure the equipment is properly received including but not limited to:
- Validating equipment received matches packing list.
- Scheduling security checks with the Security office and Cybersecurity office.
- Ensuring equipment is packed and marked appropriately.
- Perform inventory management on assets in storage including but not limited to:
- Matching equipment to purchase requests.
- Performing periodic inventory and reporting any shortages and overages.
- Ensure all storage areas are clean and organized, demonstrating a professional appearance and eliminating any safety hazards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Warehouse Clerk
Journeyman:- Supply Chain Institute, Certified Inventory Management Expert.
- 3 years’ experience of relevant experience.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
