Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Position:
Parks Maintenance Technician - Part-Time (Fort Walton Beach, FL). This role is part of Sam's Club and includes responsibilities to maintain a safe, clean facility and positive member experience. The hourly wage range is $16.00 - $23.00, with potential additional compensation and benefits described below.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes safety sweeps, forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.

Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment according to Company procedures.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as needed, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of recyclable materials in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when supplies are low.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards and guidelines, including safe handling of hazardous materials and equipment
• Performs ongoing cleaning and maintenance tasks across facility areas
• Ensures clean, safe, and welcoming environment for Members and Associates
• Maintains inventory of chemicals and supplies; rotates stock and ensures proper storage
• Responds to spills and operates cleaning equipment as needed
• Reads and follows Company procedures and environmental programs

• Minimum:
  Must be 18 years of age or older
• Preferred:
  Prior maintenance or facilities experience is helpful (not required in this listing)
