OverviewAstrion has an exciting opportunity coming up for an IO Intel Instructor/Developer to join our team and support the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS) located at Hurlburt Field, FL. We are preparing to hire for Journeyman, Senior, and SME levels. We anticipate a start date in March/April 2026. Cyber Operations Formal Training Support III (CyOFTS III) is a Cyber Schoolhouse program supporting delivery, development, and sustainment of cyber training across operationally relevant mission sets.
The team supports instruction, curriculum and content development, training operations, and program execution at multiple Air Force and joint training locations.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- 5 years of experience in the Operations Information Environment (OIE).
- Some preferred examples include (but are not limited to) military planning and assessment at various levels (Tactical, Operational, and Strategic) with regard to staffing of deception activities and MISO plans. Other examples include field experience in Public Affairs and Strategic Communications and a general understanding of signature management.
- Deliver and/or develop instruction aligned to Operations in the Information Environment (OIE).
- You will leverage your knowledge and Qualifications relating to military planning and assessment at the Tactical, Operational and Strategic level. You will be applied to staffing of deception activities and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) plans. Field experience in Public Affairs, Strategic Communications as well as a general understanding of signature movement desired. Strong familiarity with common processes utilized by the Air component desired.
- You will augment and support the government and the 39 IOS in accomplishing its training mission and mission support tasks.
- You will comprehend the 39 IOS mission, the cyber training ranges and Weapon Systems associated with the training requirements.
- You will augment and support mission operations in the areas of course development, research, analysis, curriculum development, curriculum instruction, and curriculum evaluation in unclassified and classified environments.
- You will plan, contribute to, research, and analyze Joint and service-specific training documents IAW government approved directions, guidance, and timeline milestones.
- You will plan, contribute to, research, and analyze Joint and service-specific operations, activities and plans for IW. This includes but is not limited to current and future organizations, teams, plans, operations, systems, and actions involved with CO and IW operations.
- You will plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct required Special Access Program/Special Access Required (SAP/SAR) material to perform certain functions and technologies for integration into the curriculum and into mission systems where applicable.
- You will plan, contribute to, research, and analyze Joint and service-specific Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) and threats.
- You will plan, contribute to, research, and analyze Operations in the Information Environment, Information in Joint Operations, and Information in Air Force Operations that ensures training systems are kept up to date with the current environments and learning objectives for each course requiring integration into the curriculum and into mission systems where applicable.
- You will analyze and review feedback from internal and external sources with military and Government staff to ensure currency, consistency, and quality of course material that ensures training systems are kept up to date with the current environments and learning objectives for each course requiring integration into the curriculum and into mission systems where applicable.
- You will observe and participate in exercises both internal and external and document the most up-to-date, unique processes and lessons learned that ensures training systems are kept up to date with the current environments and learning objectives for each course requiring integration into the curriculum and into mission systems where applicable.
- You will survey current and post graduate IW team members in order to fill information gaps and obtain recent real-world examples for inclusion in curricula that ensures training systems are kept up to date with the current environments and learning objectives for each course requiring integration into the curriculum and into mission systems where applicable.
- You will augment and support the Government in course planning and development, including, but not limited to, all formal training courses, lessons, and related courseware material.
