About the RoleThe Medical Technologist will perform assigned laboratory tests in specialty departments including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Your work will provide critical data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Note:
Eligibility for benefits may vary by location.
- Perform complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results
- Receive and put away specimen supplies in the department
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrument problems, documenting corrective action and performing repairs when necessary
- Ensure quality control is properly performed and logged, following departmental procedures for corrective action
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills needed to train new employees and/or students
- Actively participate in phlebotomy and accession responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field
- Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required to start
- ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
- US authorization to work is required
