Boeing’s Global Services (BGS) Maintenance Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated Lead Level Support Engineering Data Specialist with fighter maintenance platform experience in Fort Walton Beach, FL
. In this role, you will develop and update F-15 maintenance publications for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and USAF models by interpreting engineering sources and adhering to specifications, processes, and established style and format requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in aircraft maintenance, specifically in F-15 hydro-mechanical systems, possess strong communication and collaboration skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working effectively with stakeholders and business partners in a geographically dispersed team.

Ideal candidates will also possess project management experience leading a team on multiple concurrent efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Leads development, analysis, collection, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and makes recommendations.
  • Leads providing recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for all equipment subsystems and multiple platforms.
  • Applies extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Reviews completed work for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective.
  • Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
  • Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Develop and modify the F-15 Technical Publications for varied customers and platform models.
  • Work very closely with engineering, program, requirements, management, and customers to review new procedures and create the updated publications.
  • Interpret source from engineering and interpret to integrate into publications according to customer specifications.
  • High-visibility role as you advance involving customer facing during Certification/Verification events.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge shares with all stakeholders is required.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • Previous F-15 defense platform experience, supporting the military customer (Fighters preferred)
  • Three years previous Hydro Mechanical Maintenance Experience (on aircraft)
  • Computer literacy/IT Software tool experience (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Outlook)
  • Technical Publication Authoring Experience
  • Engineering source familiarity
  • Workflow coordination/project management and estimating experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Egress familiarity (ACES 5 preferred)
  • Engine Cooling System (ECS) familiarity
  • Engine System familiarity (Pratt & Whitney or General Electric)
  • Aircraft Performance Group (APG) familiarity (towing, lifting & jacking, leveling, parking & mooring, etc)
  • Electrical Systems (Fire, Ice, Oxygen) familiarity
  • Fuel System familiarity
  • Hydraulic System familiarity
  • Landing Gear familiarity
  • General Vehicle Systems familiarity
