We are seeking highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance—where reliability, security, and performance are paramount. Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer - Journeyman to support this mission at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
- Provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order.
- Possess and apply expertise in designing, optimizing, and providing engineering oversight for the management of C2
ISR Data Transport Infrastructure technological platforms. - Support Global Infrastructure primary transport and dissemination systems including DDS, B1
DDS, B2TR, B3
IGS. - Support Cloud infrastructure including GC2, mC2, Joint Cloud with DAF CLOUD works.
- Support Operations and Management systems including Service Now, CDS, CAAP.
- Support network Infrastructure including RGEPs, IGEPs, MGEP, ground terminals and gateways.
- Support multiple network domains (e.g., Commercial, NIPR (CUI), SIPR, JWICS).
- Develop integrated strategies for network configuration management, performance monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and resource optimization (e.g., VM sizing, storage tiering).
- Design and implement monitoring protocols for diverse systems (Linux, Windows, virtual environments), network components (routers, firewalls, load balancers), and user access, leveraging tools like Splunk or Elastic Stack, ACAS.
- Engineer user access management frameworks and procedures, including SSO integration, MFA design, and RBAC definitions leveraging a zero-trust approach.
- Provide engineering support for coordination of Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and troubleshooting, designing efficient diagnostic procedures and automation scripts (e.g., Power Shell, Python).
- Design and optimize automated solutions for routine systems administration tasks (patch deployment, backup verification, log rotation) using platforms like Ansible, Puppet, or scripting.
- Operate with latitude in defining engineering solutions to ensure secure, efficient operation of global transport infrastructure across diverse network environments.
- Utilize Role Specific Tools: network engineering platforms (Solar Winds, Net Scout, Cisco DNA Center);
Service Now;
Jira Service Desk; SATCOM monitoring and acquisition tools; latency measurement and QoS optimization tools; cloud orchestration and sustainment tools; cross-domain solution monitoring; end-to-end visibility dashboards; engineering deployment kits; incident tracking and COOP readiness systems.
- Previous experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS/BA or 3 years' experience with an MS/MA or 0 years' experience with a PhD or 9 years' w/o degree or 7 with AS/AA
- A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
- US citizenship is required
- DoD 8140 role for WRC: 451;

- DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
