Sr Structural Engineer (Data Centers) at Jacobs
. This role is within the Advanced Manufacturing team and involves working on data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and related structural engineering assignments.

• Perform a variety of analyses
• Create computer models for structures
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; material take-offs for estimating; preparation of miscellaneous calculations; assisting with schedules
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers on various capital projects
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery; coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally
• Travel to client sites as needed (approximately 10% to 20%)

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station and S3D
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry design codes and standards
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and MS Teams for remote coordination
• Ability to travel to various client sites (approximately 10% to 20%)

• Master of Science in Engineering
• Experience with industrial metals projects including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects
• Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations
