Job SummaryThe Information Operations Instructor position we have available provides you the opportunity to share your Information Operations (IO) experience with the future IO cadre. We are seeking Information Operations (IO) experienced candidates with instructional experience in Intelligence or IO with the skills to develop, and instruct courses focused on training students to conduct operations in the Information Environment. This role involves extensive curriculum development, delivering instruction and conducting student evaluations.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in information operations, mission planning, and various instructional methodologies.
- Conduct analysis, planning, course design and development or modifications and upgrades to then conduct lessons of instruction of the IO curriculum
- Develop, manage and deliver instruction involving practical application student training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests
- Integrate IO defensive and offensive skill sets into instruction as they relate to Air Force and Joint employment of operations in the information environment
- Analyze, and develop instruction curriculum expanding on the understanding and application of Intelligence Support to IO planning and execution.
- Integrate Psy Ops tactics, technique and procedures into IO curriculum
- Develop instructional materials addressing how intelligence analysis supports planning and execution of Psy Ops
- Analyze, plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct IO curriculum in support of the operational planning processes as described in JP 5-0.
- Utilize the ISD approach with ADDIE systematic framework to structure effective training programs, along with incorporating Bloom’s taxonomy levels of learning
- Apply the JIPOE systemic process to analyze, plan, and deliver IO curriculum as it pertains to employment of Air Force and Joint Operations.
- Plan, design and develop e-learning products to include: storyboards, web-based aids, video instruction or other performance systems incorporated into an LMS
- Assist in creating simulator virtual environments to deliver training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests or demonstrations.
- Develop cognitive information operations students’ evaluation testing methods and IO focused scenarios.
- Develop student training missions, scenarios, and mission evaluation methods to effectively evaluate IO skills students gained or apply with IO courses.
- Proctor staff and/or IO students in classroom and student training missions to gain measures for student evaluations related to IO training courses.
- Observe and participate in exercises to capture processes and lessons learned for integration into the curriculum and into applicable mission systems
- Fill learning objective and information gaps in curricula by assessing real-world examples and current publications
- Survey current and graduated IO team members to advance learning perspectives and build new material for integration into applicable courses and mission areas
- Review student and stakeholder feedback, critiques and surveys with unit staff to ensure currency, consistency, and quality of course material.
- TS/SCI clearance ( SCI Eligible)
- 5 years’ experience of Operations in the Information environment
- Associate’s degree or approved years of experience (5+ years)
- Experience with military assessments and planning at various levels
- Instructor Experience of two years or more
- Army information operations training and experience
- Psy Ops experience of 2 years or more
