Job Description

The Auto Service Advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians.

Key responsibilities include:

Greeting customers and scheduling service appointments

Listening to customer concerns and documenting comments accurately

Writing service orders with detailed descriptions of problems and repairs

Translating customer repair issues into standard automotive repair terminology

Explaining repair procedures and costs to customers

Test-driving vehicles to verify repairs

Estimating repair costs and time frames

Handling customer complaints professionally

Managing workflow and scheduling in the dealership

Communicating with technicians regarding parts and repairs

Providing advice on warranty, cost savings, and trade-in options

Maintaining positive relationships to encourage repeat business

Processing payments and ensuring all service details are accurately recorded

Qualifications include excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of automotive technology and industry standards.
