Full-time - Compensation:
Six-figure salary plus production bonuses and an equity bonus package valued up to $90,000. - Access to Plumb’s Pro online, Veterinary Information Network access, & a variety of in-house reference books.
- Continuing education allowance and dedicated CE paid time off.
- Regular lunch-and-learn sessions to stay updated on cutting-edge care and integrate new medicine and techniques.
- Support for DEA licensure fees and coverage of Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association dues, American Veterinary Medical Association dues, and AVMA PLIT dues.
Responsibilities:
- Examine animals, diagnose issues, treat wounds, perform surgeries, and provide vaccinations.
- Operate medical equipment, advise owners on care, and collaborate with team members.
- Complete medical records within 48 hours of visits to meet state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
- Kentucky state licensure.
- Comfortable performing dental procedures with a variety of instruments available to assist, including dental radiography.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience but newer graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ideally USDA APHIS certified for health certificates and open to becoming Fear Free certified.
