Housekeeper - Environmental Services Worker

Come join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.

We are seeking to hire an Environmental Services Worker – Housekeeper - Full-Time.

Salary: $14.50 per hour. Shift: 7am to 3pm daily plus every other weekend.

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English to follow instructions.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

• Stand, lift and walk most of the day.
• Turn, stoop, crouch and reach for high and low cleaning.
• Push and pull mops, dusters, vacuums and buffing machines.

• Sweep, mop and/or strip, wax, buff rooms, bathrooms, halls.
• Clean, disinfect furnishings, and fixtures.
• Empty, clean and reline waste baskets.
• Perform terminal cleaning duties in resident room.
• Report supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing.
• Clean nurses' station, utility, TV and shower rooms; kitchenette.
