Radiation Oncology - Advanced Practice Provider
St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking an advanced practicing registered nurse committed to clinical excellence, research and education to join our growing radiation oncology team.
Successful candidates will be board certified or board eligible and possess the technical and scholarly skills to maintain an active clinical radiation oncology practice. Our goals include meeting the needs of a rapidly growing community and a rapidly growing cancer program, with plans for a new satellite center in the near future. This position leans well to a highly motivated individual with a teamwork mentality.
Our state-of-the-art program utilizes the Varian equipment with four linear accelerators at the main center (Edge with True Beam, Vital Beam, Edge, and Halcyon) and an additional Truebeam unit at the satellite cancer centers.
Come join our growing Oncology specialty of five radiation oncologists, a team of medical oncologists, and multiple surgical specialists at our award-winning hospital system, St. Elizabeth Healthcare.. The successful candidate will practice at the new St. Elizabeth Dearborn County Cancer Center, the region's first-ever such facility. The 66,000 square foot world-class patient-centered, state-of-the-art cancer facility recently opened its doors in April and is dedicated solely to the full spectrum of oncology care.
The candidate will also travel to St. Elizabeth Edgewood and St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.
Knowledge of advanced practice including anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and therapeutics, basic nutrition, behavioral factors, psychosocial/family systems, diagnostic testing, interpretation of results and clinical decision making, alternative treatment modalities. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish/maintain a safe work environment. Knowledge of health promotions, health risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques.
Knowledge of community, professional and education resources.
- Experience in oncology preferred.
- This is a full-time position (M-F).
- Hours:
8-4:30 pm. Hours may vary. - No call

Additional locations will include Fort Thomas, KY & Dearborn, Indiana
