Warehouse​/Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

The Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight with carriers and vendors
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, invoices)
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
• Assist to resolve discrepancies in inventory audits and cycle counts
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding order status
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company procedures
• Assist with warehouse organization and process improvements
• Monitor freight costs and support cost-control initiatives
• Assist and support warehouse supervisors as needed
• Support Warehouse Manager

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience
• Experience with inventory management and/or ERP system
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
