Software Engineer, C# / Unity Developer
Job Summary
As a Software Engineer Co‑Op, you will support the testing, validation, and implementation of applications and libraries used internally and externally. This role provides hands‑on experience with embedded systems, user interfaces, and control systems. You will also gain professional experience by presenting work, participating in meetings, and collaborating with engineering teams across the organization.
Job Duties Include- Troubleshoot and validate graphical user interfaces (GUI).
- Perform unit testing for GUIs and software libraries.
- Assist with minor bug fixes and implementation of new features.
- Participate in systems, infrastructure, and architectural development planning.
- Contribute to pull requests and formal code reviews.
- Support the discovery of business context and help translate findings into business requirements.
- Create supporting documentation, including process flow maps, project charters, and technical documents.
- Exposure to object‑oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, problem solving).
- Experience with .NET technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Proficiency with Git for version control (commits, branching, pull requests).
- Experience developing applications in Visual Studio.
Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Work Requirement: Available to work 20‑27 hours per week while attending school.
