Overview
Summary:
Under general supervision, installs, troubleshoots and repairs all electrical circuits and devices throughout the Baptist Health System.
EDUCATION:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE:
Formal technical training in the electrical field to at least the apprentice level is preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, BONDING:
Licensed and bonded Master Electrician is preferred.
PHYSICAL
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must occasionally work in temperatures ranging from below zero to 140oF. For extended periods, must routinely bend, stoop, squat, lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds, push, pull, stand, walk, climb and use hand and power tools. May be exposed to various stored energy, some of which could be lethal, such as electrical, mechanical, steam and air. Is sometimes exposed to hazards such as chemicals, acids and gases with protective measures provided.
Occasionally will work in a noisy environment.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
