Position PurposeThe Account Manager is responsible for the accurate receipt, coordination, and processing of customer orders, artwork, and related information required to produce customer products. This role serves as a key communication link between sales representatives, customers, and production, ensuring job schedules are obtained, communicated, and met while delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receive and process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests, questions, and complaints regarding products and services.
- Assist assigned team partner with account management, Direct Connect jobs, and new business development.
- Ensure artwork is received and handled in accordance with company guidelines.
- Route proofs to customers and follow up to ensure timely approvals.
- Price jobs according to WW&L guidelines and prepare accurate information for invoicing.
- Facilitate growth and development of assigned product lines.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with assigned customers.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, and production teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
- Knowledge of industry printing techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with printing operations and WW&L guidelines and procedures.
- Extensive product knowledge or ability to quickly acquire product expertise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of applicable software systems.
- Ability to accurately price jobs using the WW&L standard price book and guidelines.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to create clear, logical instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Regular attendance is essential; must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to lift ten (10) pounds or more.
- Extensive sitting required.
- Extensive use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.
- Extensive use of telephone and other communication devices.
