BARISTA (FULL AND PART TIME)

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services – UAFS Starbucks, 5210 Grand Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72904.

Schedule:

Full‑time & Part‑time schedules available; open availability preferred. AM and PM availability required.

Pay: $12.00–$13.00 per hour.

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related items, handles food per HACCP, interacts with customers courteously.

• Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards.
• Keeps display equipment clean and debris free during service.
• Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greets customers courteously and ensures satisfaction; relays concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing line delays.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately.
• Advocates selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in buying decisions.
• Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
